Hotel Information
Lodging for the team at out of town overnight events (Stotesbury and
SRAA Nationals) is arranged and paid for by the TC Williams
Athletic Department. Lodging for the Canadian Nationals is
organized by Alexandria Crew Boosters.
Alexandria Crew Boosters also reserves a block of rooms for parents
at hotels convenient to these race sites. Parents must make
reservations on their own, and it's a good idea to book early. If
you're not able to attend, or your child's boat doesn't qualify for the
regatta, you can usually cancel with no penalty.
Chaperones are needed for all these events, so parents who are
attending are urged to contact Jeff Byron to volunteer. Parents
won't travel with the team, and need to make their own reservations in
the Crew Boosters room block.
Stotesbury Cup Regatta: Philadelphia, Friday and Saturday, May
16 & 17.
We are staying at the same hotel as the rowers, the Philadelphia Airport
Courtyard, 8900 Bartram Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, 19153. We have 20 rooms for parents booked for the nights of May 15, 16 and 17. Currently the hotel is completely booked so you must make a reservation under our group name, the Alexandria Crew Boosters.
The deadline is Thursday, April 24 to make a reservation. After
April 24 unreserved rooms in our block will be released.
Our group rate is $169 plus tax. To reserve you may call toll free at 1-800-321-2211 or call the hotel directly at 1-215-365-2200. If you reserve a room and need to cancel, you have until 6 p.m. the night of your arrival to cancel without paying a deposit.
SRAA Nationals: Oak Ridge, TN, Friday and Saturday, May 23
& 24.
We have 15 rooms reserved for parents at the Courtyard by Marriott
Cedar Bluff, 216 Langley Place, Knoxville, TN 37922. Our reservations are for the nights of May 22, 23, and 24. Please make your reservation under the group name of Alexandria Crew Boosters to receive your group rate of $139 plus tax. If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so by 2 p.m. on the day of your arrival to avoid charges.
